Rencana Pemerintah membangun infrastruktur laut meliputi pembangunan jalan tol yang akan meningkatkan konektivitas antarpulau dan perbaikan mutu infrastruktur pelabuhan di wilayah kepulauan Indonesia. Bagian dari rencana tersebut meliputi pembangunan 24 pelabuhan komersial dan lebih dari seribu pelabuhan nonkomersial, serta pengadaan 83 kapal kontainer, 26 kapal muatan besar, dan 500 kapal penumpang pada 2019.1
Di Indonesia, produk SMP telah menjangkau pelanggan di Balikpapan, Banjarmasin, Batam, Bitung, Cikarang, Cilegon, Jakarta, Makassar, Medan, Samarinda, Sorong, dan Surabaya melalui distributor khusus yang dapat mengantarkan produk dengan aman ke lokasi kapal sesuai jadwalnya. Distributor kami juga terlatih untuk memberikan jasa teknis dengan standar kelas dunia yang menjadi salah satu keunggulan kami.
SMP melayani lebih dari 10.000 kapal di dunia, mulai dari kapal tanker besar hingga perahu nelayan kecil di lebih dari 540 pelabuhan di 43 negara. Saran dan bantuan teknis yang kami berikan akan membantu pelanggan memaksimalkan penggunaan produk pelumas kami pada semua jenis mesin dan peralatan kapal.
Pelanggan SMP juga memiliki akses 24/7 ke Pusat Layanan Konsumen Internasional/International Customer Service Centre (iCSC). Pelanggan juga dapat melacak pesanan mereka dengan mudah melalui aplikasi ponsel Shell Marine Products pada platform iOS dan Android, yang merupakan aplikasi pionir dalam industri ini.
