Andri Pratiwa, Director of Shell Lubricants Indonesia, said, “The Mandalika MotoGP is the most anticipated event of the year and we are excited to be a part of this event together with the Ducati Lenovo Team. The collaboration between Shell Advance and the Ducati Lenovo Team has resulted in tremendous innovation in lubricant development to maximize performance and efficiency, and provide the best possible performance for all of our customers.”
Shell Advance first collaborated with Ducati in 1999 for the World Superbike Championship. The partnership has been a huge success, with more than 150 victories and seven Riders’ titles in the MotoGP World Championship. It also formed the basis for the development of Shell Advance technology, a special formulation combining Active Cleansing Technology and PurePlus Technology used by motorcyclists around the world.
On the same occasion, Ducati Lenovo Team Rider Francesco Bagnaia, said, “I am delighted to be back at Mandalika this season and racing on a track that suits the character of our bikes. Even though this is my first time competing in Indonesia, I am confident that I can deliver a strong race performance. Thanks to the strong support of our team as well as Shell Advance lubricants, my bike’s engine can perform even better. I am confident that the continued collaboration between Ducati Lenovo Team and Shell Advance will lead to even more success and wins.”
Shell Advance works with Ducati Lenovo Team to continue to push the technical boundaries of lubricants for racing to deliver the performance the team needs on a race weekend. Ducati not only uses Shell products on the track, but also chooses Shell Advance lubricants and Shell V-Power fuel as the first fill for every Ducati leaving the factory in Bologna, Italy.
“We believe that the team’s source of strength comes from collaboration. We hope that the Technical Partnership between Shell and Ducati will lead to great results at the Mandalika MotoGP," concluded Andri Pratiwa.
